This is a placeholder page for the time being, until we can get an independant webpage up.
There are a number of abbreviations that are used throughout the descriptions:
BA - Bright Aluminum - aluminium rings that have been polished.
AA - Anodized Aluminum - colored aluminum to add a bit of flash. The anodization is actually a color-coat, so it CAN be scratched off.
16g, 18g, 20g - the "g" indicates "guage" or thickness of the rings.
3/16", 1/4", 1/2" - generally refers to the inner diameter of the rings.
Some of the questions that most people ask are:
How long does it take to make something?
-- Generally, if it's a simple thing with average sized rings, I can weave about 100 rings per hour, give or take. Smaller rings require more precision, and may take longer.
How do you make this?
-- Without being terribly flip, my general response is: One ring at a time. It's the basic truth. Each ring has to be opened, woven into place and closed.
How much does it cost if I wanted [insert special order]?
-- There isn't an exact amount that charged at the moment. Basically, it depends on the complexity of the design, the weave, the number of rings, and finally, the time it takes me to finish.
How long does it take to make [insert item]?
-- It depends on how complex it is. Chainmaille is not just one weave. One of the websites I visit has over 800 weaves and variations of weaves. Some are pretty simple. Some are EXTREMELY complex.
I want something special. How long would it take for you to make me a [insert item]?
-- Again, it depends on complexity and if I have the materials to make it. If I have the materials (generally I work w/ Aluminum), in the colors you want, I can generally make it within 1-2 days, depending on my time constraints. I do, however, get my rings from Canada, and to get aluminum rings will take about a week. If you are looking for a different metal, that can take upwards of 2 weeks (or more).
If you have any other questions, feel free to leave me a message here, or email us at Dragons.Chainmail@gmail.com. I try to check here and there about 2x/day.
Thanks for checking out my page!

Of course, when I post a picture up I'll totally give you credit and linky here :]
glad you liked the design ... it's not "mine"... my pic is just how I made it - would love to see what you did with it, though.
All the pix I have are basically just weaves of chainmaille you can find pretty much anywhere on the web.
